Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Mr Solly Malatsi, will unveil a Cyberlab at Morutwa Secondary School in Limpopo, in partnership with Telkom, to mark World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD).
The Cyberlab is equipped with a range of digital learning tools, including computers, high-speed internet access, and interactive educational software — providing learners and teachers with resources to enhance academic performance and digital literacy.
The Cyberlab is equipped with a range of digital learning tools, including computers, high-speed internet access, and interactive educational software — providing learners and teachers with resources to enhance academic performance and digital literacy. This launch forms part of broader efforts to close the digital divide through public-private partnerships. Telkom’s Connected Schools Programme, which supports digital infrastructure in schools across South Africa, is one such example the impact of a whole of society approach.
For Morutwa Secondary, which has already seen an improvement in Grade 12 results in 2024, the Cyberlab offers the chance to build on this momentum — preparing learners to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
