The Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Mr. Mondli Gungubele (MP), will conduct oversight visit in Free State’s Botshabelo and Bloemfontein in Mangaung
Metropolitan Municipality on 31 October to 01 November 2025 respectively.

The focus of the visit is to advance South Africa’s digital transformation agenda and to monitor the progress of the Broadcast Digital Migration (BDM) program.

During the visit, Deputy Minister Gungubele will visit households around the areas to assess the installation process and ensure that no one is left behind in the digital migration efforts. This initiative underscores the Department’s commitment to accelerating digital inclusion across the country.

The visits are scheduled as follows:

Day 1:

DATE: 31 October 2025 (Friday)
TIME: 09:00am-15:00
VENUE: Botshabelo Ward 31, 32 & 37

Day 2:

DATE: 01 November 2025 (Saturday)
TIME: 09:00am-15:00
VENUE: Mangaung Metro (Bloemfontein) Ward 7 & 10
