DEPUTY MINISTER GUNGUBELE DONATES AID TO FIRE-AFFECTED SCHOOL

The Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Mondli Gungubele (MP), will lead a delegation of both public and private sector to Sophakama Primary School in Dunoon, Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality. The school was recently affected by fire, and the visit aims to provide essential resources to support its recovery and rebuilding efforts.

The donation will include critical learning materials, equipment, and resources designed to restore a safe and conducive environment for teaching and learning.

This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to education and community resilience, ensuring that learners can continue their education even in the face of unforeseen challenges. It also serves as a powerful reminder of the strength and determination of communities in overcoming adversity.
