Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams Sends Condolences To The Family Of The Late Former Ukhozi FM Station Manager Welcome Bhodloza Nzimande

Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams wishes to convey a message of support and condolences to the family of the late broadcasting veteran Welcome Bhodloza Nzimande, who sadly passed away this morning.

He joined the SABC’s Ukhozi FM in 1978 as a presenter. He was a presenter for 19 years before becoming a station manager, a role he occupied for 13 years. Nzimande also presented the cultural music programme, Ezodumo on SABC 1.

“As the Ministry we would like to thank Mr Welcome Bhodloza Nzimande for his substantial contribution towards elevation of the broadcasting industry, especially radio and the greater South African society. We would like to extend our sincere condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace,” said Minister Stella NdabeniAbrahams.
