PROFILE OF ACTING DIRECTOR-GENERAL MS NONKQUBELA THATHAKAHLE JORDAN-DYANI
Ms Nonkqubela Thathakahle Jordan-Dyani is currently the Acting Director-General in the Department of Communications and Digital Technology leading the department on digital transformation policies and strategies.
She is a seasoned public servant with more than 20 years in the Public Sector, 13 of which in Senior Management.
Ms Jordan-Dyani holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts from the University of Fort Hare and Bachelor of Arts Honours: International Relations (Politics & International Law) from Rhodes University. She also holds certificates in: Telecommunications Policy, Regulation & Management from Wits University and Digital Transformation Strategy certificate from the University of Cambridge.
Ms Jordan-Dyani has served in various national and international bodies, in a number of capacities amongst others, Co-Chair of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Congress Committee on Strategy; Chair of the African Telecommunications Union (ATU) Council; Alternative representative on the Inter-Governmental Assembly (IGA) for the NEPAD ICT Programme; Chairperson of the DOC Women’s Forum; and Deputy Chair of the South African Women in ICT.
